A cacao ceremony is a ritualistic gathering where we use pure and sacred cacao as medicine for the heart, combined with breathing, movement, sound, and presence practices to promote inner connection and expansion of consciousness.
Is the cacao used the same as in regular chocolate?
No. We use *100% pure cacao*, minimally processed, without sugar or additives. It preserves energetic, emotional, and physical properties that are different from industrialized chocolate.
Is the ceremony religious?
It is not a religious ceremony. It is *spiritual and therapeutic*, open to people of any belief or spiritual path, respecting the individuality of each participant.
Do I need to have previous experience with meditation or rituals?
No. The ceremony is guided step by step and is suitable for both beginners and those already experienced in spiritual practices.
What might I experience during the ceremony?
Each person experiences it in their own unique way.
Some feel:
* deep relaxation
* emotional openness
* physical sensations
* mental clarity
* connection with the heart
Everything happens at your own pace and within your own limits.Does the ceremony involve the use of psychoactive substances?
No. Cacao is a natural medicine, not a hallucinogen. It acts gently and consciously, without altering one's perception of reality.
Can I participate even if I am emotionally sensitive?
Yes. The ceremony is a *safe, welcoming, and respectful* space, but you will always be encouraged to respect your own boundaries and take care of yourself.
Are there any contraindications for the use of cacao?
Yes. People with serious heart problems, those taking MAOI antidepressants, pregnant women, or those who are extremely sensitive to caffeine should notify their doctor in advance for evaluation or dose adjustment.
Do I need to remain silent throughout the entire ritual?
Not necessarily. There are moments of silence and moments of expression, such as movement, sound, or sharing. Everything is conducted with care and respect.
What should I wear to the ceremony?
Comfortable clothing that allows for movement. Lightweight fabrics are recommended. If you wish, you can wear colors that resemble red, earth tones, or natural shades.
Does the ceremony involve physical contact?
Touch is *never mandatory*. When present, it is always explained beforehand and only occurs with clear consent. The main focus is on the internal experience.
Can I eat before the ceremony?
A light meal is recommended up to 2 hours beforehand, avoiding alcohol, heavy meat, and excess sugar, for better integration with the cocoa.
Can I leave the ceremony if I don't feel well?
Yes. You are free to move around, rest, or leave at any time. Self-care is an essential part of the practice.
How long does the ceremony last?
The average duration is *2 to 3 hours*, depending on the proposal and the practices included.

Create a space for *presence, connection with the heart, grounding in the body, and inner listening*, using cacao as an ally to awaken awareness and sensitivity.
